On Making Zhoushan an International Marine Service Center -- A Speech Addressed at the Forum on the Development of Zhejiang Marine Economy

In order to develop marine economy,what must be put on the top agenda is to make a balance between the protection of environment and the improvement of people's living conditions,and to get a good understanding of the development of marine economy which is different from its land counterpart.In addition,if aiming at being a powerful marine economy,Zhejiang should try its best to develop the marine service sector,which will provide an excellent opportunity for making the society and its economy go smoothly,improving the people's living standards,and building a giant harbor to qualify itself as a key harbor in the North-east Asia.A base is necessary to develop marine service sector since the service is very open.Zhoushan,a city with favorable resources,should catch the golden chance to be the core of the international marine service center in the province.
