Modern Family Farm: Accurate Understanding, Implementing Predicament and Countermeasures

Family farm is an important form of agricultural organization of micro management in China, which integrates land management by family and commercialized production. Moderate scale of land, farm manager and market participation ability are the basic components of a family farm. However, in practice there are certain factors restricting the development of family farms, such as low willingness and stability of land circulation, low capital accumulation of farm managers, poor ability of market participation, etc. Only through innovating land circulation mechanism, enhancing managers'' ability, perfecting social service system and establishing positive land property rights system, can the stable operation of family farms be better promoted.
