主流意识形态对现代改译剧文本选择的影响

意识形态是影响现代改译剧文本选择的重要因素。中国近现代社会中有两大交替出现的主流意识形态,即救亡图存、革命思潮和思想启蒙思潮。在救亡和革命思潮影响下,辛亥革命前后、左翼文学时期和抗战时期,抵抗外辱、彰显爱国主义和社会革命题材的外国戏剧被大量改译进来;五四至抗战爆发以前,思想启蒙占据了时代的主流,改译者选择的多是反映妇女解放和批判现实社会的剧目。这些改译剧给当时封闭沉闷的社会带来新的气息,同时也极大地影响了当时的话剧创作。

The Influence of Mainstream Ideology on the Text Choice in Modern Adapted Dramas

The ideology is an important factor which affects the choice of texts in the modern adapted dramas.In Chinese modern society there were two alternating mainstream ideologies,that is,salvation and revolutionary thought,and enlightenment.Under the former＇s influence,before and after the Revolution of 1911,in the periods of left-wing literature and Anti-Japanese War,a great number of foreign dramas were adapted with the themes of resistance against foreign invasion,patriotism and social revolution.From May 4th Movement to the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War,enlightenment became a mainstream ideology,and adapters introduced plays reflecting women＇s emancipation and criticism of realistic society.These adapted dramas not only brought fresh air to a dull closed society,but also greatly influenced the writing of modern drama of the times.
