摘    要:运用阿什比高等教育遗传环境理论,通过对英国传统大学职能转换之探索,旨在揭示高等教育内在遗传性与外部环境的互动与适应的特征:大学的发展经受遗传与环境的双重影响,其内在逻辑是决定大学产生和发展方向的力量;而环境又要求大学不断做出变革使各方面的影响力量达到平衡。这两种力量的相互协调与作用,形成大学生存和发展的基本动力。

Abstract:Based on Ashby's theories on genetics and environment of higher education,the paper,by exploring the function transform of the British traditional universities,tries to illustrate the interaction and mutual adaptation of higher education's internal genetics and environment.Though mutually influenced by genetics and environment,the university development is finally decided by its inner logic,while the environment needs universities to make some changes in order to keep the balance.The interaction and coordination between genetics and environment of higher education together promote the development of universities.
