代际支持关系在老人养老模式选择中的创新作用

The Innovative Function of the Intergenerational Support Relations in Choosing the Mode of Providing for the Aged

With the changes of the socio-economic structure and the family structure, the family gradually weakens its function of providing for the aged. The function which was undertaken by households in the past is replaced by social function gradually. Investigation showed that a clear intergenerational support relation still exsits between the elderly and children in economy, the way of asking for help, spiritual solace and mode of living. In choosing modern social modes of providing for the aged, it is feasible to actively establish and improve the social mode on the basis of fully affirming and exerting the family function.
