| 摘 要： | 为了强化专制统治 ,民国初年北洋政府举行了四届县知事考试。尽管县知事考试的实效不大 ,且依然不能摆脱浓厚的科举残余色彩 ,但它已初步具备现代文官考试的雏形 ,这体现在它有现代性的考试内容以及一整套考试、录取、考核、管理等章程。
