摘    要:惯用语是概念流利度的重要体现之一。隐喻概念知识能促进惯用语的习得。隐喻能力与英语惯用语教学关系实证研究结果显示了语境在惯用语含义的构建中起着至关重要的作用,通过对英语学习者隐喻能力的培养,让其了解母语与二语言使用语境上的差异,可提高惯用语表达的有效性,增强语言表达的概念流利度,为英语惯用语教学提供可参考的教学策略。

Abstract:Idiomatic expression is one of important factors displaying conceptual fluency. The knowledge of metaphorical concept is beneficial for idiomatic expression acquisition. The study of relationships between metaphorical competence and English idiomatic teaching proves that context can play an important role in the construction of idiomatic expression and English learners’cultivation of metaphorical competence can make them know about the differences of context between native language and second language, which can improve the validity of idiomatic expressions and strengthen their own conceptual fluency so as to provide a valuable approach for English idiomatic teaching.
