Identity makes clear that the identity alternation leads to self-loss and the construction of self is based on the existence of the real self. Ignorance dashes exiles＇ dreams of self-identifying with a story of an exile＇s heartrending returning experience to her native land. The trilogy indicates that man is in his never-ending journey to seLf-construction anywhere in his life and no completeness of self-construction could be achieved anytime and anywhere.
