Enhancing the Syncretizing Power of Chinese Philosophy and the Modernization and Globalization of Chinese Culture and Philosophy

In "The Needs of Western Culture for Chinese Culture", I mentioned the two needs: the exterior need for Chinese culture to strike a dynamic balance be tween man and the world and the harmonious development; the interior need for Ch inese culture to solve the various contradictions in modern western ideology. In order to enhance the syncretizing power of Chinese culture to convert western c ulture and establish complementary relationship, a discussion is needed about th e subjectivity and active creativity of Chinese philosophy, its enhancement and reconstruction and its universalness and universalization.
