| Abstract: | The novel Changing Places uses parody as a narrative method to make specific applications in the misreading of themes,languages, plots and characters in the classics as well as in literary theories and terms. Meanwhile,as a cultural strategy,it demonstrates a denial to and a sneer at the society,which is in accordance with Lodge's own creating and life attitude. |
