试论保持党的先进性与扩大党的群众基础

党的先进性与党的群众性是一个有机的统一体。保持党的先进性最现实的课题是防止党脱离人民群众和弱化群众基础。把新社会阶层中的优秀分子吸收到党内来,妥善协调各方面利益关系,切实加强党的基层组织建设,努力探索思想政治工作的新方式新方法,是扩大党的群众基础的有效途径。

Maintaining the advancement of the CPC and expanding foundation of broad masses

The advancement and mass participation of the CPC form an organic unity.The most realistic task for the maintaining of the advancement of the Party is to prevent its members from separation from the broad masses as well as the weakening of the foundation of the masses.An effective way to expand the foundation of the mass is to absorb the outstanding members of the new social stratus,make proper coordination of the various interests at different levels,strength the construction of the organizations at the basic levels and try to seek new modes and methods for the political ideological work.
