| Abstract: | Because of the differences in languages,culture and mode of thinking between China and the West,there exist dissimilarities too in the use of the subject of a sentence in English and Chinese.The paper tries to explore respectively the different characteristics and usage of the subject between the two languages.The comparison in this field will,we believe,help the college students improve their language and communicative competence. |
