古老的先进与现代的落后--楚国音乐与古希腊音乐的比较和反思

从湖北随县擂鼓墩一号墓出土的乐器与文献显示 ,楚国音乐在当时已处于世界巅峰 ,较之同时期的古希腊乐器与音乐 ,显然发达得多 ,进步得多 ,高明得多。然而 ,西方人经过不懈地改良改革 ,发展进步 ,终于在近现代将我们远远抛在后面 ,从而占据了世界主流音乐的地位 ;而楚国当年的乐器及相关文献不是泯亡失传 ,就是没有什么改进 ,二者间巨大的反差充分暴露了我们民族一定程度的固步自封 ,不求进取和相当程度地丧失遗弃优良传统的弱点。“古老的先进与现代的落后” ,当促使每位爱国知识分子深刻反思。

Ancient Advance and Contemporary Backwardness--The Comparison and Introspection of the Chu Music and the Ancient Greek Music

The article analyses the Chu music in positive met ho d. The instruments and documents come up out of No.1 Tomb in Leigu Mound of Sui County indicate that the Chu music is on the world peak, compared with ancient G reek music. It is found that the former are more developed, advanced and brillia nt than the latter. But the Westerner improved, reformed, developed and advanced unremittingly. Lastly in contemporary age they left us far behind, and to domin ate the music main status in the world. Though those instruments and documents o f Chu either died out or undeveloped .The giant contrast reveals our disadvantag es of conservation and abandon good traditions. Ancient advance and contemporary backwardness might make every patriotic intellectual self-question profoundly.
