契约精神与自由之路

自由是近代政治哲学的核心话语,它是人的主体意识觉醒之后的第一诉求.近代自由主义纷纷以“自然状态”为逻辑起点,开启了追寻自由之路.由于“自然状态”的意蕴不同,自由之路的开启模式也不尽相同.然而,自由主义普遍认为,建立合理的政治共同体是通往自由的必经枢纽,而缔结契约,则是共同体得以成立的合法性根基之所在.因此,从霍布斯到康德,形成了一条以契约精神铺就的自由之路.

Contract Spirit and the Freedom Trail

Freedom is the core word of the discourse of modem political philosophy, and it is also the first request after the awakening of human consciousness. Modem liberalism has ＂natural state＂ as the logical starting point to open its pursuit of the freedom trail. Due to different meaning of the ＂nature state＂, the opening mode of the freedom trail is not the same. However. liberalism generally thinks that the establishment of reasonable political community is the necessary key to freedom, and concludes that the contract is the legitimacy foundation of the community. Therefore, the freedom trail that was paved by contract spirit had formed from Hobbes to Kant.
