| 摘 要： | 美国作为一种外部民主化力量,试图在中东推行“民主改造”战略,但由于这一战略包含着“西方中心论”和霸权色彩,而在当地激发起强烈的民族主义情绪。这种民族主义倾向于从反霸和文化相对论的角度,反对民主化进程的推进。

Nationalism and Democracy: a Comment of The American's Democratic Transformation Strategy in The Middle East |

| Abstract: | At present, America tries to undertake the democratic transforming strategy in Middle East as an outside power. This strategy arouses strong nationalist feeling among the local people because of its Western-centric approach and hegemonic nature. This nationalism inclines to oppose the democratization process according to the perspectives of anti-hegemonism and cultural relativism. |
