| 摘 要： | 通过对美国现代主义景观产生的社会文化背景及发展趋势进行分析，结合当今国内景观设计发展的局面与之对比。对美国现代主义景观设计取其精华去其糟粕，探讨中国景观设计在尊重自然，保护遗产，低碳环保，满足社会进步和人民群众物质文化需求上的发展途径，实现景观设计对城市的协调可持续发展作用。

| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the social and cultural background and the tendency of American modernist landscape, and then compares that with the development of Chinese landscape design. By means of taking the essence of American modernist landscape design and discarding the dregs, the paper expounds approaches of landscape design in China such as respecting the nature, preserving the heritage, advocating low-carbon emission and environment protection in order to meet people＇s material and cultural needs in the social progress and the development, The landscape design is expected to play a role in the city＇s coordi nated and sustainable development. |
