对新疆城镇化发展问题的思考

目前，新疆城镇化发展水平与新疆所占面积和所处地理位置相比仍显不足。一些突出问题仍不能有效解决。如：城镇化水平低，进展缓慢；城市布局北重南轻，结构不平衡；城市经济实力和服务功能较弱；依托绿洲的城市发展对生态环境制造了负面影响，等等。应针对这些问题改变观念，真正认识城镇化的对发展新疆经济、改善民生的重大意义，大力推进城镇化进程，提高城镇化水平。

On the Development of Townships in Xinjiang

At present, the level of the development of townships in Xinjiang is relatively low in terms of the area Xinjiang takes up in China and the geographical location of Xinjiang. Some prominent problems that need to be solved are ： low level of township development, slow progress, more emphasis on the north Xinjiang, unbalanced structure, weak urban economic strength and urban serving functions, and negative impacts of the eco-systems in oasis cities. To solve these problems, we must change our views by fully understanding the significance of township development in developing Xinjiang＇ s economy and improving the livelihood of people.
