| Abstract: | Prof. LIU Baiyu declares to have discovered a large amount of mistakes in translation related to ocean bills of lading. He raised a number of examples and commented about them. The ways of translation recommended by Prof. LIU and the com- ments are in part disputable. A discussion is intended to make with him and other scholars interested in business English on the topic of mistranslation identification. |
