传统中国"忠""孝"矛盾的理论基因和实践表征

忠孝之道是中国传统政治文化的主干。忠和孝都要求自觉地服从和维护权威,所以理论形态上的忠孝之道具有价值同一性。但在实践中随着忠孝价值地位的变化,忠孝之道又存在着不可调和的激烈冲突。忠孝冲突的理论基因是:忠孝冲突是人的属性的内在矛盾的体现;忠孝冲突是君权与父权矛盾的体现;忠孝冲突是公与私矛盾的体现。其实践表征主要表现为:注重亲情,就孝弃忠;舍孝就忠,以全大节;忠孝两难,杀身成仁。

The Theoretical Gene and Actual Representation of the Contradiction between "Loyalty" and "Piety" in China

Following "loyalty" and "piety" is the backbone of the traditional politics and culture in China.Both "loyalty" and "piety" stick to the conscious obedience to and maintenance of the authorities.Theoretically,"loyalty" and "piety" are similar in terms of theoretical orientation,but they have insolvable contradictions due to their different value orientations.The theoretical gene of their conflicts reveals the internal conflicts of human nature and their conflicts are the representation of the conflicts between monarchical power and patriarchal power and that of the public and the individual.The typical cases are as follows: if you attach more importance to affection,you will follow "loyalty" rather than "piety";if you want to keep praiseworthy moral integrity,you will follow "piety" rather than "loyalty";if you can follow neither,you will have to commit suicide.
