| Abstract: | The investigation of the Principle of eliminating falsity by debate and that of the expression of argument, professed in the Six Chapters by the ancient master philosopher Mo Zi, will help us better understand the practical value of the Six Chapters as the very instrument of argument. This paper is aimed to, firstly, analyze the expressive implication of refutation in the Six Chapters by MoZi, and then it goes on to expound the defensive characteristics and functions of three types of Refutation. |
