Affect and visualization are both important factors in the process of English language information network construction. Visualization refers to the process of forming images, and images are indispensable parts of language mind map. Visualization and affect produce an effect on each other. Different affect states infiltrate into visualization, speeding up or holding back the images formation. Visualization,as a catalytic agent, stimulates the changes of affect states, either facilitating the development of positive affect or restraining the breeding of negative affect.
