To return to the thing itself demands that,first of all,man be lost in the existing knowledge,and,then,find another way to re-enter It is just because of this,that Benjamin has begun an entirely new mode to grasp(fassen) the world.And the successful application of the mode in popular culture studies has led his studies not only to demonstrate the rich reality of popular culture,but has successfully initiated many a school of cultural studies as well.In this way,the confused belief that Benjamin’s theory is full of contradictions is clarified and done away with.
