利用小概率原理分析研究生招生工作中的突发事件,提出了导致小概率事件发生的原因有重复效应、数量累积效应和群众检验效应,认为在招生工作中要树立小概率事件意识,科学设计招生工作流程,建立应对小概率事件的制度,以更有效地应对小概率事件。

Small Probability Events and Their Prevention in the Enrollment of Graduate Students

This paper investigates the occurrence of unexpected incidents in the enrollment of graduate students on the basis of the Small Probability Event Principle.It has been found that the occurrence of small probability events is accounted for by the following three causes: repetitive effect,accumulative effect and mass inspection effect,and thus to cope with small probability events more promptly and effectively.It is of vital importance for staff in charge of graduate students' enrollment to be highly sensitive to small probability events,to improve the procedure of enrollment,and to set up series of regulations.
