20世纪中国哲学家眼中的科学

中国现代哲人把科学是什么与科学应在中国人性命中成为什么的思考结合起来。在这个历程中,科学由外在、超越的普遍性存在方式逐渐成为内在于中国人的基质,并最终被安置进中国人的内在性命中。在冯契的转识成智学说中,科学智慧与境界被理解为最高的智慧与境界之一。这一学说把对科学本质的思考与心性论结合起来,把科学纳入心性之学的架构,淡化科学是什么,强化科学对于中国人意味着什么、能成为什么的维度,开辟了理解科学的新境界。

Science in the Knowledge of 20th Century Chinese Philosophy

Chinese modern philosophers combined the thought of what science is and what science should be in Chinese life. In this process, science was explained as an outer and transdent way of being, then as Chinese inner character, recently as the Chinese inner life. Especially in Feng Qi' s theory of "Turning Knowledge into Wisdom", scientific wisdom and sphere was regarded as one of highest wisdoms and spheres. By combining the essence of science and theory of Mind and Human Nature, placing science in the framework of such theory, weakening the idea of what science is, and strengthing the idea of what science means to and becomes for Chinese, this way of thinking has opened a new sphere for understanding science.
