英语词汇记忆策略的自我监控实验研究

摘    要:自我调节学习循环模式被认为是一种能够培养出聪明的学习者的学习模式。它强调学生对学习策略进行自我监控,对学习结果进行自我评价,并在聪慧的同伴、教师的建议下改进或调整自己的学习策略以提高学业成就。本文以英语学习中的词汇记忆为研究点,通过让学生参加为期7周的自我调节学习实验,发现:(1)学生对词汇记忆策略的自我监控能促进词汇信息的长期保持;(2)合适的记忆目标与时间分配是提高词汇记忆水平的重要环节;(3)联想法和上下文法是比较有效的两种词汇记忆方法。

Abstract:The cyclic model of self-regulated learning is considered to be a kind of learning process that can cultivate smart learners. To improve the learning achievement, students are required to self-monitor their learning strategies,and evaluate their own learning outcome and refine or adjust their strategies by adopting teachers or peer's advice. This study focuses on the vocabulary acquisition, aiming at improving learners' memory by refining their memory strategies. Through seven weeks' teaching experiment, we can reach three conclusions:(1) self-regulated learning can raise the level of vocabulary acquisition; (2)Appropriate memory goal and time management areessential factors of raise vocabulary acquisition; (3)Applying images and Placing words into context are considered to be two efficient memory strategies.
