On the Influence of Short Messages on University Students and Its Countermeasures

Short messages from mobile phones have already become a popular way of communication nowadays, and they are regarded as a culture phenomenon. While affirming the positive function of such messages, their negative function can't be ignored. The negative culture from short messages in the form of reactionary political information, obscene pornographic information, false or swindling information, and harassed and rigged information spread widely in campuses. They produce enormous negative effects on the value and behavior of young university students, so we need to reinforce ideological education, perfect laws and regulations, strengthen supervision, and build healthy campus culture in order to deal with these problems.
