河南省社会科学界联合会最近召开了“市场经济条件下社会科学发展机制研讨会”，针对 社会科学发展机制不适应目前市场经济环境的问题，探讨了建立社会主义市场经济条件下社 会科学发展新机制的必要性、可能性和现实性，重点探讨了社会科学适应市场经济和科学发 展规律的要求、扶持基础理论研究的同时，在应用理论领域建立产业的可能性。以下是与会 专家学者的发言摘要。

The excerpts of the seminar on the social scientific development mechanism under the condition of market economy

The symposium on the social sciences development mechanism under the condition of market economy was held recently by social sciences circles un ion of Henan province.In accordance with the question that the social sciences d evelopment mechanism doesn't fit in with the present market economic environment ,the confee studied on the necessity,Possibility and reality that set up the new social scienles development mechanism under the socialist market economy.Especi ally ,the participant stressed on the requirement which social scienles fit in w ith market economy and the law of the sciences development.Moreover,the possibil ity of setting up the industry in the region of the applied theory while giving aid to the study on the basic theory is also the main subject of the symposium.
