通过分析大学外语教学面临的现状，比对有效教学和卓越教学，提出在卓越工程师培养计划中的大学英语课程应以学生为主导，重在培养学生的个性思维能力，并提出根据人文经典的阅读课程和关注语篇逻辑的阅读课程，作为卓越工程师大学英语教学的实施手段，达到高等学校人才培养的目标。

The Curriculum Design for the College English Reading Oriented Towards the Program of Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers

The college English teaching changes not merely freshmen＇s English level but also the teaching target. The comparison between efficient teaching and outstanding teaching shows that teaching should be student-oriented and what＇s the most important is cultivate student ability to think independently. So it is put forward that the reading course based on classic humane works and the one focusing readers＇ attention on the discourse logic of passages should be used as the means of carrying out the program of Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers to achieve the goal of personnel cultivation.
