| Abstract: | Tai Gong and Guan Zhong were the most influential politicians in the historical development of the Qi State. Their political ideas and strategies for running the state bore remarkable features of the Qi legists, different in principle from Confucians like Zhou Gong and Confucius as well as from the legists of the period of Warring States. |
