| Abstract: | Biography of ancient history writing has a profound impact on the Lin Shu＇s biographical writings.In content,his writings are mostly narrative,but showing true affection and moving sentiment;in the art form,they are usually meticulously and elaborately structured,with skillful depiction of the details and the scene,where serious subjects are discussed in jocular tones and the philistine is turned into the elegant;in style,they tend to be sentimentally sorrowful and heart-rending,leading to their easy resonation with readers.All of these artistic features further deepen our understanding of the writer＇s accomplishments in ancient Chinese prose. |
