摘    要:本文以苏州市426家企业为样本,对影响中小企业绩效的因素进行了实证分析.研究发现,有形资源,特别是资金的可获得性、生产设施的利用效率、员工的整体素质等,是目前中小企业生存和成长的基础条件,但企业制度改革对绩效改进并无明显的促进作用;无形资源,如产品的质量水平、注册商标的等级等对中小企业的业绩有着重要的影响;灵活性能力、反应性能力的作用则比较微弱.

Abstract:The small and Medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) is a vital part of the Chinese national economy. Based on resource-based per- spective, using a database of 426 enterprises located in Suzhou city, this paper investigates the determinants influencing performance of industrial small and medium-sized enterprises. Empirical results in- dicate that tangible resource factors, such as availability of capital, equipment efficiency, employees talents, are the basis of survival and development of SMEs, but we find no support for the direct and posi- tive impact of enterprise system reform. Intangible resource factors, as like quality of product, brand class affect significantly the perfor- mance of SMEs. Meanwhile, talents and experience of senior man- ager, flexibility and response capability play vague roles. Based on the above findings, this paper presents policy suggestion accordingly.
