| 摘 要： | 哥特式“乱伦”多产生于极端压抑心灵的变态愿望，是哥特式文学创作惯用的一个母题，同时又是哥特式恐怖的主要来源。本文以18世纪末至19世纪中期的美国哥特小说为研究范本，旨在绘制“乱伦”母题在布朗、坡、霍桑三位哥特大师笔下的传承与发展。
