亚洲全球化与泰国人类学 ———来自乡土东南亚的视角

在亚洲全球化的进程当中,东南亚农村社会的转型方式发生了重要变化。它不再主要依赖国家与市场控制下的、以土地为基础的农业生产,而是更多地依赖与全球市场和发展的地区化有复杂联系的、以资本为基础的生产和劳动力市场。这就需要人类学家在全球化议题的问题化和概念化方面做出根本性的转变。知识空间的概念意味着对于知识的政治和＂之中—之间＂研究的强烈诉求,有助于认识不同行动者如何通过微观政治参与到全球化进程当中。泰国人类学家不仅更加关注跨界问题,还积极推动区域学术交流和合作研究,从而将自身与亚洲全球化密切地联系起来。

Linking Thai Anthropologyin Globalizing Asia: A View from Rural Southeast Asia

It can be considered that agrarian transformation itself is transforming in the context of globalizing economy of neoliberalism.It can no longer rely mainly on land-based agricultural production under the state and market control but depend more on capital-based production and labor market with complex connection to the global market and regionalization of development.It requires radical changes both in problematization and conceptualization of globalizing issues in Asia.The concept of knowledge space implies a strong implication in the politics of knowledge as well as the study of the in-between.Thus,it provides a meaningful analysis of agrarian transformation in the current context of globalization because many key actors are shifting their spaces of struggle.Thai anthropologists are not only concerned with transnational issues,but also more engaged with cooperative research with their counterparts in the region and to participate actively in regional academic exchanges.Through these various involvements,Thai anthropology has gradually linked itself in globalizing Asia.
