体语在跨文化交际中的文化差异

作为非语言交际的组成部分，体语在人类交际中占有重要的位置，已越来越受到跨文化交际者的重视。然而，仅仅认识到其重要性是不够的，因为人类的体语除了其中的一小部分有某些共性外，存在着很大的文化差异。主要体现在：体语运用的频率差异；同一体语表达不同的意思；不同的体语表达同一个意思；某些独特的体语只存在某种文化中。只有充分了解体语的这些差异，才能成功地进行跨文化交际。

Cultural Differences of Body Language in Cross-cultural Communication

As a part of nonverbal communication, body language holds an important position in human communication. And more and more importance has been attached to it by the people who are involved in the cross-cultural communication. However, only awareness of its importance is not enough, as only a small part of body language has the universal features, but a large proportion of it carries great cultural differences. The differences mainly lie in such aspects as the different frequency of using it, the same body language conveying the different meanings, the same meaning conveyed by the different body language,and the unique body language only existing in the certain culture. Therefore,only a good understanding of these cultural differences can bring about successful cross-cultural communication.
