问题意识：集体化时代中国农村社会的历史解释

集体化时代中国农村社会的研究，涉猎范围和问题非常广泛，本文侧重总结的是贯穿这一历史时期中国农村社会的共通性问题，如基层政权、阶级划分与阶级斗争、集体化经济、日常生活等。该研究主要成就表现在：对有的问题做了较为深刻的解释，对有的问题展开了热烈讨论，还有的学者提出了具有一定解释力的分析性概念。但也必须承认，许多成果只是下了事实描述的功夫，很少个人的思考，更缺乏理论性的提炼，从而也就很难产生相互间的争鸣。在研究方法上，总体说来还缺乏方法论意识。另外需要指出的一个现象是：集体化时代这样一个原本应作为历史学研究的对象。但历史学学者参与并不多，或者说即使有所涉足，也未能取得令人预期的成就。在此领域一展身手的主要有人类学学者、社会学学者、政治学学者和经济学学者。
