The Radical Imagination in the Crisis Era:New Trends of Left-Wing Scholarship in the United States

With 2008 full-blown economic crisis,the U.S.left seems to be out of the long-standing defensive,entered a new active period.One aspect of its performance is the basic judgments and general criticism over the crisis of global capitalism.The other aspect is the theoretical concept and its radical action strategies.However,the optimism of the U.S.left on the situation does not truly reflect the reality of the crisis evolution and the political development,and the radical imagination is largely dependent on the logic of action of its criticized object.
