月令——中国古代的“时政”思想

“时政”意为依据季节、气候、历法而行政,而非“时事政治”的简称。“时政”思想体现着取法自然、遵循自然规律的生存原则,体现着中国古人“天人和谐”的宇宙观与价值观。在中国古代,“天人和谐”观念不仅体现在哲理上、技艺上,更重要是体现在政治政策的层面。“月令”是中国古代“时政”制度的集中体现。

Monthly Order——Ancient Chinese Concept of Governance by Timing

"Governance through timing" means governing through the season,climate and calendar.It could not be literally interpreted as "current political affairs." Governance through timing embodies the survival principle of learning from nature and abiding by the law of nature and reflects the view of cosmos and value of "harmony between man and nature" of the ancient Chinese. In ancient China,the concept of "harmony between man and nature" is not only reflected in the philosophical field but also in the field of art,and most importantly in the level of political policies."Monthly Order" is the concentrated embodiment of the system of "governance through timing" in ancient China.
