摘    要:要说服企业积极主动地去承担社会责任,就必须给出企业应当承担社会责任的充足理由。管理学界为此所展开的探讨,回答了企业为什么要承担社会责任的问题,为企业承担社会责任提供了重要的理论依据。这些探讨也基于不同的理论视角,在企业性质、特征和使命等有关企业的基本问题上,提出了许多新观点、新思想,从而改变着企业的传统定义,将人们对企业的认识引向新的境界。文章梳理并评价了这些探讨在理论上的新贡献,指出企业的管理者如果不想落后于时代,企业如果不想在新的复杂的社会环境中被淘汰,就应该听一听理论界这些新的声音;同时,文章也分析了这些研究的局限,并对未来研究进行了展望。

Abstract:If the enterprise is to be convinced of playing an active role in undertaking social responsibility, it must be given sufficient reasons for doing so. Management academia's discussion on this has answered why the enterprise has to take social responsibility, providing the important theoretical basis for corporate social responsibility. From various perspectives, these discussions come up with many new ideas concerning the enterprise's nature, characteristics and mission, thus changing enterprise's traditional definition, and leading the perception of the enterprise to a new phase. This article theoretically analyzes these discussions' new contribution, pointing out if the enterprise does not want to fall behind the time, being eliminated in the new complex social environment, it should listen to theorists' new ideas. At the same time, this article has also discusses the limitation of these studies, looking to the future.
