Response of Japanese companies to environmental changes

How is Japanese business responding to environmental changes? This article reports on a survey of 140 major Japanese companies regarding other responses. The author concludes that: These companies are trying to meet the challenge; that there are differences from industry to industry which need to be delineated; out that there is a considerable difference between measures adopted and planned for implementation which suggest a positive attitude towards environmental changes.
