| Abstract: | This essay reports the author's investigation by questionnaire and interview into the present teaching of common required courses for English majors conducted to the seniors of the EST Department, TUT. The report covers such aspects as the basic guiding principles, a brief account of the study as well as the analysis and discussion of the results. The statistics and proposals gathered through the study may serve as reference for English teaching reform. |
