| 摘 要： | 1936年,徐悲鸿对张大千作出“五百年来第一人”的评价,后人论及张大千在中国美术史上的地位时多借用此评语,却大多忽略了“五百年来第一人”产生的历史语境和真正意涵.实质上,“五百年”并非实指的时间期限,“第一人”也非某一具体标准参照下比较的结果,而是一种“意兴”的表达.

| Abstract: | Chang Dai-chien was hailed as "the greatest Chinese painter of the last five hundred years" by Hsu Pei-hung in 1936.Although people tend to refer to this comment when discussing Chang Dai-chien’s position in Chinese art history,they fail to recognize its historical context and real implication.In fact,"five hundred years" does not indicate an actual period of time,nor is "the greatest Chinese painter" a result of comparison with a specific criterion.Instead,this comment should only be taken as a random expression of mood. |
