| 摘 要： | 莱布尼茨对汉字的兴趣来自于对语言"根符"的追寻。莱布尼茨一生都认为可在人类语言的基础上创造"根符库",从而找到人类思维根符库。"语言根符"其实就是莱布尼茨哲学中的"单子"。因此,莱布尼茨研究汉字要解决的其实是哲学问题,即将人类包罗万象的概念缩减到几十个或几百个"根概念",用这些"根概念"不仅可以总结过往的所有概念,甚至还能预测或"生成"未来所有的新概念。莱布尼茨本人不通汉字,他的汉字知识,主要来自传教士,其中比较重要的一位就是基歇尔。
