政治思维方式是西方政治文明的河床,＂知识的统治＂与＂统治的知识＂使西方政治文明既有形而上的知识维度,也有直面政治现实的形而下意味。西方政治文明之河经历了古希腊、中世纪和现代性政治思维三种河床形态,现代性政治思维孕育出相对主义、虚无主义的文化危机。进一步消解理性基础和回归古典政治哲学是当代西方思想家采取的两种主要摆脱策略。在鉴别中国政治传统、处理知识理性与政治实践的关系、有效发挥知识分子的政治作用等方面,西方政治思维对当代中国建设新型政治文明具有重要启示。
