| 摘 要： | 委婉语不仅是一种语言现象 ,而且也是一种文化现象。不同的文化背景所创造的委婉语反映了不同的文化内涵。从语言与社会文化关系的角度 ,阐述英汉委婉语的社会文化背景 ,并对英汉委婉语的文化内涵进行了分析与比较 ,从而揭示出它们之间的文化差异

| Abstract: | Euphemism is not only a languge phenomenon but also a culture one.Euphemism which is coined in different cultures represents different cultural connotations.This paper tries to expound,from the point of view of the relationship between language and culture,the background of social culture of English Chinese euphemism and makes a contrastive analysis of the cultural connotations between them so as to bring to light the differences in cultures. |
