试论孔子弟子的从政观念与实践

孔子一生关心政治 ,有求仕愿望 ,这在其弟子身上表现也很明显。据考察 ,孔子弟子无论年龄大小、兴趣如何 ,都程度不同地对政治有兴趣 ,有的还有不小的建树。考察他们从政的事迹 ,可发现孔子的早期弟子与晚期弟子从政风格有明显差异 :前者人多 ,后者人少 ;前者朴质 ,重事功 ,后者多“文采”,与学术联系紧密。此外 ,孔子创办私学 ,使许多平民出身的弟子通过学术登上政坛 ,打破了过去以血统为基础的世卿世禄的常规 ,带有明显的进步性

The Concept and Practice of Confucius' Students

Confucius had a lifelong interest in politics and this desire was also obvious in his students. According to studies, Confucius' students, whether young or old, no matter what their likes, they were interested in politics to different extents and some had had achievements. Obvious differences exist between the students of the early and late periods. The former were many, simple, practical; and the latter were not many, literarily talented, and within scholarly circles. In addition, many common people became politicians through Confucius' education, which broke the regulations of heredity and were thus progressive.
