隋唐长安城通化门遗址考

隋唐长安城通化门,是隋唐西京通往东都洛阳和中原的主要城门。公元9世纪朱温毁唐长安城之后,通化门遗址尚存至20世纪50年代。陕西省文物管理委员会曾对唐长安城的外郭城、兴庆宫、大明宫、曲江池和芙蓉园做了实地探测。但关于通化门遗址位置的探测,认为在今西安市长乐西路北侧陕西省电力建设总公司(原火电公司东南角)。根据历史文献记载和隋唐长安城有关考古发现,论证隋唐长安城通化门遗址应在今长乐西路南100米,东距金花北路180米处。

On the Site of Tonghua Gate in Chang＇an City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties

Tonghua Gate in Chang’an City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties was the main gate leading to Luoyang City and the Central Plain.In the 9th century,Zhu Wen destroyed the Chang’an City,the site of Tonghua Gate remained until 1950s.Shaanxi Provincial Administration Committee of the Protection of Antiquities and Monuments has conducted field surveying in Waiguo City,Xingqing Palace,Daming Palace,Qujiang Pool and Tang Paradise.However,the surveying of the site of Tonghua Gate showed that it might be located at the north side of Changle West Rd near Shaanxi Electric Power Company.According to the historical literature records and archaeological discovery,it is believed that the site of Tonghua Gate should be somewhere 100 meters away from the south side of Changle West Rd,180 meters from Jinghua North Rd.
