Abstract: | In this paper, we prove a novel result about the asymptotic distribution of a class of rank statistics that can be used in a situation where the number of replications is limited, whereas the number of treatments goes to infinity (large k, small n case). The results can be applied to, e.g., data from agricultural screening trials where usually the numbers of factor levels are large, but there are only few replications per factor level. |
