＂礼＂本质上是一种负载于人＂体＂叙事的象征符号,＂礼＂与＂体＂的实践与信仰,是＂礼＂的发生学探讨不可忽视的观察视点。文章对儒家思想系统中的＂體＂、＂禮＂与＂鸣玉以相＂、＂佩玉践形＂等语词隐喻与行为意义进行了知识考古式发掘,发现体、礼与玉在儒家礼乐身体实践,乃至上古宗教仪式中形成了三位一体的关系,即外體（身体仪容）——礼与玉（媒介）——内德（神圣力量）,从而揭示礼仪诞生的动力源泉,以及神圣礼仪和世俗道德间的根源联系,为＂礼＂之发生探源提供一种新的阐释。
