| Abstract: | Liu Yong is a famous contemporary writer and painter in Taiwan,whose series of encouraging and instructive prose, to which he has been applying himself with great concentration, has enjoyed a high circulation in the mainland and had an active influence on the readers. It is his special life experiences, cultural background and artistic pursuits that shape his works with his characteristics. As a thinker of life, the value of Liu's prose lies in his overthrowing the traditional modes of education and defending our homeland of love for mankind as well as in the wisdom of this world. |
