西学东渐与近代中国色彩文化的嬗变——以字典辞书为中心的考察

研究近代中国色彩文化的嬗变对于了解近代以来中国传统文化转型历程具有重要意义。文章通过对民国时期出版的字典辞书中的色彩词汇进行梳理、分析和比较,论述西学在科学知识、艺术思维以及社会政治领域推动了中国色彩文化各个层面的变化,即基本原理（现象层面）以及染色术（技术层面）、色彩观念（文化艺术层面）和用色行为（社会政治层面,主要表现为色彩符号的诠释和运用）。这些变化不仅有知识上的更新、技术上的进步,更有观念上的蜕变,乃至认知方法与思维模式上的重建。

Advent of Western Influence and Transformation of Culture of Color in Modern China An Examination Focused on Dictionaries

A study on the transformation of color culture in modern China is significant in understanding the transforming process of traditional Chinese culture.By sorting out,analyzing and comparing the vocabulary of color in the dictionaries published in the Republican Period,this paper discusses how western science had promoted the changes in various aspects of Chinese color culture in scientific knowledge,artistic thinking,and social and political fields,including basic principle(phenomenal level),dying technology(technical level),concept of color(and artistic level) and color appcication(social and political levels,which mainly represents as the interpretation and utility of color sign artistics).These changes not only include the update of knowledge,advance of technology,but also the transformation of ideas,and even the reconstruction of cognitive ways and thinking patterns.
